Set off alone on the marked paths with family or friends. A wonderful walking companion, the donkey or pony will carry the little ones and motivate the youngest to walk.
WELCOME TO THE GUYS
Les Galopins rents donkeys, ponies and llamas on the magnificent Confins plateau in La Clusaz, 30 minutes from Annecy.
Children from 2 years old to 40 kg* can ride on the animal which is guided by the parents. Whether with the family, for budding hikers or for experienced walkers, we offer different walks departing from Les Confins.
Safety, welcome, a change of scenery and discovery of exceptional natural spaces are all there.* 40 kg on the 15' course and 30 kg on courses longer than 15'
THE CONFINING PLATEAU
In an exceptional landscape, in the heart of the Aravis massif, the Confins plateau is one of the highlights of hiking, there you will discover all the riches of the mid-mountains: fauna, flora, mountain pasture life...
At 1450m, the Confins plateau has retained its authenticity by preserving the natural heritage and remaining a friendly site for all tastes and all ages.
Nestled at the foot of the grandiose Combes des Aravis, above Lac des Confins, the site is renowned for its setting and its access.
THE TEAM
A team of professionals, people, but above all animals experienced in mountain walks and contact with young and old.
Fayou, Dino, Chipper, Jaco, Gus, Serge... our 20 animals are educated and particularly adapted to children with whom they get along wonderfully.

Discovery walk
Accompany your child for a pony or donkey ride on an easy 15-minute route. (No appointment required during opening hours)
Renting an animal

Free entry, our animals love petting! And come take a selfie with Serge and Scott, our two llamas!

Opening
SUMMER HOLIDAYS, from 07/06 to 09/01/2024, every day from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
AUTUMN: In September and October, every weekend, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
ALL SAINT HOLIDAYS: from 10/19 to 11/04/2024, every day from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
In the event of heavy rain, the activity is closed and the animals rest.
