5H / WALK AND NIGHT AT THE BOMBARDELLAZ REFUGE
Hike at the foot of the legendary Chaine des Aravis.
Very beautiful route in the countryside among cows, sheep, goats and through fir trees and mountain pastures.
Refuge in a traditional chalet which offers a splendid panorama of the Chaine des Aravis and the Bouchet valley in Grand-Bornand.
Franck, its caretaker, recommends the specialty of potato fritters.
Prices and conditions:
- Rental of a donkey: €90
You leave around 4 p.m. and return the next day before 1 p.m. It takes 2 to 3 hours of walking each day.
- Half board at the refuge (Meal lunch night in dormitory): €50/person and €30 for children under 12 years old. (2024 prices)
Running water / WC / No shower / No credit card and no dogs in the shelter.
In all cases, you must contact Franck on 06 07 44 32 73 to reserve the night and order meals.
The shelter is open every day from 06/01 to 09/15 and weekends until 10/15.

AUTUMN: In September and October, every weekend, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
ALL SAINT HOLIDAYS: from 10/19 to 11/04/2024, every day from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
In the event of heavy rain, the activity is closed and the animals rest.
